PREPARATION / Before you start

Before you start

The setup process has two parts: the user panel and the client. The user panel handles account creation, plans, orders, subscriptions and client access; the client reads the subscription configuration, lets you choose a route and establishes the connection. Keep the two separate: an active plan does not mean a device is connected, and a client showing Connected does not mean every app is using the expected rules. That is why the final exit-IP and per-app checks are essential.

FvVPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. This page focuses on common import paths for the first four platforms. Linux desktop and command-line clients vary considerably, so get the relevant instructions from the user panel and then follow the system-specific sections in the troubleshooting handbook. Clients and subscriptions are obtained from the user panel; this page does not provide static installers or display an actual account’s subscription address.

Before starting, confirm that the device time and time zone are correct, and keep a browser window that can access the user panel open. Copy the subscription configuration from the panel into the client. If you close the page, log in again and retrieve it from Account Overview; there is no need to create another order.

ACCOUNT / Account

Create an account

Open the FvVPN account creation page first. You only need to set a username and password; no email address is required. The username is used to sign in to the user panel, while the password protects your plan, orders and subscription details. Choose a combination that is easy to remember but difficult to guess. Submit the form when finished; the page will take you to the user panel or show a link back to sign in.

After entering the panel, check that the username shown at the top or in the account area is the one you just created. This prevents confusion caused by another account session left in the browser. If the page still shows the sign-in screen, use the username and password you just set. Losing the username can make recovery difficult, so save your sign-in details in a trusted password manager.

After creating the account, do not look for the subscription link yet. Until you choose an active plan, Account Overview may show only a basic status or a link to the Plans section; this is expected. Next, choose a plan first, then return to the overview after the order takes effect to retrieve the subscription.

PLAN / Plan

Choose a plan and complete your order

Sign in to the user panel and open the Plans section. Monthly subscriptions reset their data allowance each month on the activation date. Current options are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Estimate your everyday use first: regular browsing and text-based tools use less data, while HD video, system updates and large file syncing consume it faster. Device count is unlimited, but all devices share the account’s available data, so device capacity and data allowance are not separate resources.

If your usage is irregular, compare the data packages that never expire. Packages are used until the allowance runs out rather than resetting monthly. Monthly subscriptions suit continued use with a fixed allowance each month. The two options are billed differently, so check the name, price and data allowance again in the order confirmation area before placing an order. When upgrading a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated against the remaining days; the exact result is shown in the user panel before you submit the order.

After choosing a plan, select Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT in the panel and complete payment as shown on the order page. Return to Account Overview after payment and check whether the plan status has updated. If the old status remains, refresh the overview or sign in again instead of repeatedly submitting the same order. When choosing a plan for the first time, review the 30-day no-questions-asked refund policy; the complete scope is set out in the refund policy.

SUBSCRIPTION / Configuration

Get the subscription link from the user panel

Once the plan is active, open Account Overview in the user panel. Find the subscription section, where you will see an option to copy the subscription or import it into a client. After you click Copy, the clipboard will contain the subscription address for the current account. It allows the client to read route settings; it is not a regular web link and does not need to be opened directly in a browser.

Treat the subscription address as account credentials. Do not paste it on public websites, in chat groups or into screenshots, and do not submit it to untrusted online conversion tools. When this guide needs to show the format, it uses an obviously fake value, for example:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

The address above cannot connect to FvVPN; it only illustrates the structure commonly used by subscription links. In practice, copy the content generated for the current account by the user panel. If the client later reports an empty subscription, a parsing error or an abnormal permission status, return to Account Overview and copy it again to rule out missing characters, extra spaces or a plan that has not taken effect.

Some clients support one-tap handoff, while others accept only manual pasting. Both methods produce the same result: the client on your device receives the subscription configuration from the panel. To reduce failures caused by switching between apps, this guide uses the broadly compatible method of copying the link and importing it in the client.

CLIENT / Client

Import a client on each platform

Open the Client section in the user panel and choose the platform used by your device. After signing in with an active plan, the panel provides access to an FvVPN client or a compatible subscription client for that platform. Install it, return to this page and follow the relevant system section to import the subscription link you copied earlier. Avoid downloading similarly named installers from unknown pages, as the client type may not match the subscription format.

WIN

Windows

On Windows desktop, the entry is usually under “Subscriptions,” “Configuration Management” or Settings in the sidebar. Open the relevant page, choose Import from link, create an identifiable configuration name and paste the complete subscription address into the field. Save it, click Update subscription and wait for the route list to appear. If the list remains empty, check for line breaks or extra spaces in the pasted content, then copy the link again from the panel.

Once the configuration appears, keep the client’s default system proxy mode and avoid changing several network options at once. Choose a route suited to your use and connect. Wait for the status to finish changing before moving to verification. This keeps the problem focused on subscription import or the connection itself instead of adding complex rules at the outset.

MAC

macOS

The macOS client may appear in an application window or stay in the menu bar. Open subscription management or the configuration page, choose Add remote subscription and paste the link from the panel. Save it and run one update so the route configuration is written locally. The first network connection may trigger a permission prompt; read the system message and allow the required network configuration.

After importing, choose a route from the menu bar or the client’s main window and turn on the connection. If other network proxies, enterprise profiles or older clients are active, pause them first to prevent multiple tools from controlling the same network settings. For a complex work environment, see the per-app section of the troubleshooting handbook.

AND

Android

In Android clients, the import option is usually in the top-right corner of the home screen, the sidebar configuration page or subscription management. Choose Import from clipboard or link, paste the subscription address, save it and update the configuration. On the first connection, the system displays a permission dialog for establishing a network connection; confirm it so the client can create the local network tunnel.

Do not close the client immediately after connecting. Some systems restrict background apps, and task cleanup can interrupt the connection. Leave the client running in the background and open a browser to check your exit IP. If the connection often drops after the screen locks, review the client’s background and battery-management permissions in system settings. For detailed steps, see the mobile background-disconnection section.

IOS

iOS

Get the client required for iOS from the user panel. After installing it, open the subscription or remote configuration page, choose Add subscription link and paste the address from Account Overview. Save and update the configuration; the client will then show the available routes. The first connection requires permission to add a network configuration; confirm it to continue.

If a link copied in the browser cannot be pasted, reopen Account Overview, use its Copy button and switch back to the client immediately. After a successful import, choose one route and connect. Do not turn on multiple apps that can control network traffic at the same time. A connection indicator in the system status area only confirms that the tunnel is established; the next verification step is still required to confirm that traffic is routed as expected.

VERIFY / Verification

Connect and verify that it works

Once the client shows Connected, open a new browser tab and visit this site’s IP lookup tool. Record the exit details and compare them with the result before connecting. If the exit region now matches the selected route, browser traffic is being forwarded according to the current configuration. Avoid switching routes during verification, or the results will be difficult to compare.

The second check is actual access. Open the website or app you need to use, confirm that it loads normally and watch for repeated reconnections, partially loaded resources or an unusual sign-in area. One site failing does not necessarily mean the entire connection is down; test other sites to distinguish an unavailable route from rules that do not match a specific service. If regular websites work but one app does not change, focus on per-app rules rather than reinstalling the client.

The third check is subscription updating. Return to the client’s subscription management page and run one manual update. If it completes and the route list remains available, the basic link between the panel, subscription and client is working. From then on, switch routes in the client without creating another account or placing another order.

If the exit IP has not changed, first confirm that the client is connected, then check whether the system proxy or network tunnel is enabled. If the browser works but other apps do not, check whether the client is using global, rule-based or per-app mode. DNS, routing conflicts and system permissions require further investigation; read the DNS issues section and per-app troubleshooting section rather than changing too many parameters in this basic guide.

NEXT / Common sticking points

Common sticking points in the basic flow

The questions below provide only basic directions. A complete connection failure, peak-time slowdowns, frequent disconnections, failed subscription updates or mobile background interruptions require checking the system, client and route one by one. See the troubleshooting handbook for the full process.

Why don’t I see any routes after creating an account?

First check whether the plan is active. Account creation, plan selection and subscription setup are sequential steps; creating an account does not place an order automatically. Once the plan is active, return to Account Overview, copy the subscription and update the configuration in the client.

Why is the subscription empty after I import it into the client?

Return to the user panel and copy the link again. Make sure there are no spaces or line breaks at either end, and confirm that the client is using Import from link or an equivalent option. If it still fails, see the subscription update section in the Help Center.

The client is connected, but why does nothing change in the browser?

Use the IP lookup tool to compare the exit details first. If the exit has not changed, check the system proxy or network tunnel. If it has changed but a specific app has not, review the rule mode and per-app settings.

Do I need to buy another plan when switching devices?

No separate purchase is needed when you switch devices. FvVPN supports unlimited devices; sign in to the user panel on the new device to get the client and subscription. All devices share the account’s existing data allowance, so keep the subscription details secure.
